Diet: Diabetic, Gluten Free, Low Lactose, Low Salt

Ingredients

  • 1 bun (see recipe : https://cookingevolution.com/who-asked-for-bread-butter/)
  • 1 hamburger beef, salt and pepper, no additives
  • 4 slices cucumber
  • 3 slices tomato (or 2 grape tomatoes)
  • 1 slice bacon or prosciutto (optional)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise ( see reicpe on the blog) (regular or garlic mayo)
  • 1 tsp mustard (Orphée Old-Fashioned Mustard has no additives)

Instructions

  • Cut the burger. On the base, spread some mustard. On the top, spread some mayonnaise.
  • Then take the base and build one layer at a time :
  • Lettuce ( try to take the largest leaves, they're more even)
  • 2-3 slices of tomato, or 4 halves of grape tomatoes
  • 3-4 slices of cucumber
  • Bacon if using, and more mayo if you're a fan :-)
  • Once this part is ready, sear your hamburgers in a hot pan. Once they're done to your liking, drop one on your burger, and top with the second half of the bun.
  • That's it ! Serve with a salad on the side, or raw cut vegetables ( bell peppers, grape tomatoes, cucumber, more lettuce....).
  • I recommend adding my go-to vinaigrette on top of the salad !
