So now you have this beautiful homemade, roasted cashew butter in your fridge.

Or not.

If you don’t, use store-bought cashew butter.

Grab your blender and add about 100g of cashew butter ( about 3/4 cup – it doesn’t have to be accurate. You can adjust to your liking of thickness and creaminess, after making the milk once. No worries !)

Add water to 1L. Blend for about 20 seconds until smooth and creamy.

And voilà ! 3′ you have a large jug of cashew milk for your breakfast, for soups, for snacks…..

If you like sweet milk, you may add 1 tsp vanilla flavor and 1-2 tsp of honey before blending. The sweet version is really awesome with coffee :-).

Most of the time, I like to keep it plain to use it in savory dishes :

  • Chicken chowder
  • Cream of broccoli

Bonus : your blender is now pre-cleaned, and can go directly in the dishwasher 🙂

Looking for a lighter milk ? Check this 3′ almond milk.
